Management Team

Jerry Aarestad

Mr. Aarestad is a co-founder of PALCO Systems and the driving force behind innovation, technology and product development.

Mr. Aarestad is a former senior executive with Sunrise Medical having served in both the roles of Vice President of Global Research & Development and Vice President of Engineering and Product Development for the Continuing Care Group. Mr. Aarestad developed industry leading products for the nursing home and assisted care market and implemented world class new product development processes and manufacturing methods.

Prior to Sunrise Medical, Mr. Aarestad held various engineering management positions in both the aerospace and automotive markets. His experience includes roles at AO Smith and Sundstrand Aerospace (now Hamilton Sundstrand).

Mr. Aarestad holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University.

Mr. Aarestad is the author of many patents and is an active member of the Product Development Management Association.


Ben Anderson-Ray

Mr. Anderson-Ray is a co-founder of PALCO Systems and is the driving force behind commercialization and market development.

Mr. Anderson-Ray is the former CEO of a private equity sponsored international manufacturer and marketer of specialized equipment and software.

Previously, Mr. Anderson-Ray was a Senior Vice President of Sunrise Medical with various roles culminating as the leadership of the Global Business Group. In other roles at Sunrise Medical, Mr. Anderson-Ray was the President of the Continuing Care Group and the Mobility Products Division.

Prior to Sunrise Medical, Mr. Anderson-Ray held various general management and marketing positions in the home products and automotive markets. His experience includes roles at GE, Black & Decker and Rubbermaid.

Mr. Anderson-Ray holds a BA degree in Marketing and a BS degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University, as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan. He has been an active member of Young Presidents Organization since 1997.


Directors

John Radak

Mr. Radak is currently serving on the board of PALCO Systems. Inc.

Since Jan 2003, Mr. Radak has served as Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Invitrogen Corporation. Invitrogen is a billion dollar company that designs, manufactures, markets and sells research tools in reagent and kit form to the bio-tech and pharma industries globally. In this capacity he is responsible for the company accounting and financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and Sarbanes Oxley section 404 compliance.

Prior to Invitrogen, Mr. Radak served seven years as Vice President Finance and Corporate Controller for Sunrise Medical, a home medical equipment manufacturer. Prior to Sunrise Medical, Mr. Radak was the Vice President Finance for Bird Products Corporation. Bird designed, manufactured, and marketed medical devices to the respiratory market.

Mr. Radak holds a bachelor’s degree in both accounting and finance and is a CPA.


Timothy R. Gentz

Mr. Gentz is currently serving on the board of PALCO Systems, Inc.

Since January 2003, Mr. Gentz has been a consultant to a number of companies in the medical products industry. He also serves on the board of directors for Navarre Corporation a publicly traded distributor and publisher of software and music.

From October 2000 to November 2002, Mr. Gentz was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Gulf South Medical Supply, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of PSS World Medical, Inc. From August 1995 to October 2000, he was a private investor in an Internet start-up, a Houston based investment banking firm and a CD packaging company. Prior to that, he had held positions as CEO, COO and CFO for both public and private companies.

Mr. Gentz graduated from the University of Iowa in 1977 with degrees in both Finance and Accounting. He has been a member of the American Institute of CPA’s since 1978.
